Either is good for me. I like the sharpness of a PDF, but the size of a JPG is hard not to like either. A PNG is more detailed than a JPG, so if there is any way for you to go that route, that might be worth checking out (unless there is some reason not to that I am not familiar with).

I’m preferring JPGs. PDFs take too long to open.

PDF!

JPG, please.

JPG. PDF just adds more bloat.

PDF

PDF! Easy to scale with poor graphic knowledge

PDF!

PDF!

.Jpg, I think most people will say .Jpg Because Adobe Reader is a little difficult to print from =D

Go with PDF, Then you will be sure that it all fits onto a single sheet of paper. my printer has a bad case of cutting off the sides. makes me sad when that happens

JPG ;)

PNG
(no seriously)

PDF !!

PDF :) I like vectors :P

jpg

JPG! Because PDF is more proprietary.

I believe JPG is the easiest, most accessible of the two. However, if you were planning vectored artwork, then PDF is the way to go.

PDF

JPG’s plz!

i think PDF because the image its more detailed in PDF

¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡PDF RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JPG!!!!

The solution is… both formats. And all became happy :-P

Well, PDF has that print size issue under control, but thats not exactly a huge problem for most people. I personally think PNG is best, or at least better than JPG just because I can notice a difference in quality when compared side-by-side or just switching in the save for web dialog :P

I don’t mind what format you go with, just wanted to get my 2 cents in :P

jpg

PDF please.

LS

If you can make them jpgs without losing the crispness of the colors/lines…then those are fine…

1 PNG
2. JPG
3. PDF

I prefer printing PDFs.

Post them in JPG for convenience, and have a PDF section as well, if people want to supersize them or something.
Why not both?

You lose definition with JPG unless the file is very large.
PDF is universal (c’mon guys … Acrobat Reader is a free download, how can printing from PDF be difficult?) PDF is the obvious choice for sharp vectors.

JPG all the way!

Pros:
Faster visualization
Doesn’t need a third party app to view in browser
Doesn’t need a third party app to view as saved file
You can easily edit it to customize your papercrafts
Doesn’t crash browsers if it’s reader has an error :P
Very wide format compatibility

Cons? Are there cons?
The only I can think about is the one when you save the image as JPG again it’s quality is messed up. But you can always save it as PNG(wich is way better IMO).

JPG!

PDF! More details please!

JPG.

JPG! PDFs take way too long to load.

PDF please. It makes it easier to take to kinko’s and use up THEIR ink carts instead.

PDF… just easier.

PDF!

A much more versatile format and it’s not as lossy as JPEG.

JPG

PDF works for me.

pdf!

PDF or PNG

JPG

png or jpg

PDF definitively ! :)

And open-source PDF-readers (like Sumatra) do exist !

PDF!

PDF!!!

I like JPG.
But PNG is prefer.

JPG !!! BECAUSE WE ALL CAN USE IT

Definitely PDF coming from a graphic designer.

PDF of course. No need for explanation :-)

offer it in both formats on the download thing it should have download jpg. and download pdf.

JPG :P

PDF thnx

JPG, easier to access, pdf’s just too slow to work with and file sizes usually are a little more

PDF are better easy plus image are a lot better Jpeg is okay but depends how it is says maybe try both versions see how many download more or faster.

JPG! By all means!!

Wow, the vote is pretty split here, it seems, but that’s just from a glance. Maybe you should have a poll?

Personally, I like PDFs but JPGs are fine too. Any way is great as long as we can get awesome Cubees. :]

I think offering both would be a good route since people differ opinions on it so much, but that might be too difficult…

Can we haz jpeg? canade do’tn have pdf coz adobe is benned in my homtown

PDFs preferred, PNG next, JPG aren’t too bad.

Jpeg is better!!

JPG is better!!

PDF is best, then PNG. JPG sux.

jpg :)

PDF, please.

I print these guys from work (To cheap to pay to have them printed) so I print 2 to a 12 x 18 sheet. Jpg is so much easier in that case.

I also want to thank you for the awesome Cubees. They introduced me to a whole new hobby!

Jpg,thats more easiest to print

ERM…. when i do jpegs it always screws up the graphics (like making there random blobs of different tones of the same color) on pixel work, and since these are pixel based… one of both please.

Both would give people options, but takes up more storage space on your end.

I prefer the scalability and image quality of PDF, but it does pose some cross-platform and convenience issues for some folks.

If you are going to make it truly accessible for all levels of users, I would go with PNG. It’s as easy to work with/modify etc., for the largest majority of users, and has much better image quality that JPGs which are very lossy, especially when saving after modifying.

Your stuff is great!

C.

A lot of people here seem to think that Adobe Reader is the only way to open PDFs, but that’s not true!

There are other faster, lighter, non-bloated PDF readers available for free.

I have been using Foxit Reader for a long time now, and it hasn’t failed me once.

BTW, my vote goes to PDF (for scalable vector graphics).

Jpg

Both!!!

PDF’s

of course JPG!!!!

PDFs, you can scale to make bigger

PDF is so much better

JPG

JPG

PDF

Well, I myself prefer PNG, just for the better quality it offers; but between PDF ans JPG, I say PDF.

JPEG

I like to rescale these so I can fit more of them across my work area, dashboard and what not. I’ve also made a large scale Ultra Seven. A little difficult with PDF. You have to export to jpeg and then, if the file is locked, you gotta print screen then redraw everything…yadda, yadda, yadda…

JPG

for this, PDF would be better because there are vector graphics and i’ts for print

JPG would be perfect!

pdf would be great because it is difficult to know what size they should be but you could post both to please every body, that would be great.

JPG … why would pdf even be CONSIDERED an option?

PDF can contain vectors. If used there is nothing sharper and you can make it big as a …

So PDF!

Sorry Mario but the PDF is in another castle, but here’s a JPG for you.

JPG, because they are easier to download and print!

PDF FTW!!!

As a vector, whe can resize at any paper size without resolution loss. But, i was wondering why not both extensions?

Depends: If your website is targeting the “AVERAGE” Website user (The General Population): Then JPG for Sure! If your website is targeting the more Savvy, Web Builders, Who know all about PDF, then go with PDF) Both may be too much extra work that will have not much extra benefit.

PDF

JPG

PDF, definitely. That way, the proportions will always be right. It’s really hard to get JPGs to print exactly.
