“At the moment I’m still experimenting with small paper ‘scenes’. For this project I designed the clothes as separate parts that are folded and glued over each other, instead of illustrating it on a single piece of paper. Even the tie is a separate piece. I was curious how much extra depth this would create in a model. I also had some fun making the tiny props like the suitcase and the bag.”

“Recently I was asked to design a papercharacter for a new company called Mobile Agency. Initially it was meant to serve as the logo but we decided it would be better just to serve as a mascot. So in the end a variation on the eyes of the model was actually used for the logo.

Terrible Yellow Eyes is a collection of works inspired by the beloved classic, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.
